The Largest Indoor Swimming Pool in the World

Published by at 10:41 pm under Destinations,Sightseeing

The world’s largest indoor swimming pool is called Ocean Dome and it is located at the Phoenix Seagaia Resort Hotel in Japan. The pool has also a volcano, that erupts every 15 minutes, waterslides and stages for shows during the night. It has 300 meters long and 100 meters wide and it is located 500 meter from the sea. Its roof is blue like the sky, partly covered by white clouds. The heat inside can reach 30 degrees and has a 10.000 hold up people capacity, but unfortunately, this elite pool making up to Guinness record is being shut down this year. One possibility is that it does not generate adequate wealth. It is the first ever swimming pool in Japan, constructed around 100 years ago.
