A Swiss Pleasure – Probably the Finest Chocolate in Europe

When we say “Switzerland”, it is inevitably not to think of delicious and very attractive chocolate candies, bars, cream, for all tastes. You cannot visit Switzerland without to try to taste this absolutely fabulous dessert! Switzerland has come to the forefront of chocolate manufacturing worldwide. What about a journey with the Swiss Chocolate Train? Well, this is possible from Montreux between June and October. All passengers can enjoy the beautiful landscape of Switzerland, while eating delicious freshly baked croissants together with a glass of very good wine.
In Gruyères, the train pauses for an excursion by bus to a cheese factory and the local castle. Chocolate first arrived in Switzerland in 1819. François-Louis Cailler opened chocolate production facilities in Corsier. His brand is still in existence today. Because of the highly appreciated chocolate sortiments, Switzerland began long ago to export large amounts of chocolate to the rest of the countries. Highly skilled professionals process the chocolate, which is a combination of cocoa beans, cocoa mixture, cocoa butter, sugar, and milk.

Japan Radioactive Cloud Reaches Europe

The Nuclear Safety Agency delared that the radioactive cloud is bound to reach Europe this week. However, the risk of exposure to the radiations from Fukushina Nuclear Plant explosion will not affect the population. The Japan radioactive cloud is likely to reach France tomorrow, after having reached Iceland on Tuesday. The nuclear radiation at Fukushima goes beyond Japan‘s borders heading to USA and Europe. A person even outside the 30-kilometer zone could have an exposure of 100 millisieverts or more from radioactive iodine to thyroid gland if staying outside since an accident hit the plant on March 12, the commission said. The nuclear crisis in Japan is still present and residents living living within 20 kilometers to 30 kilometers of the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant have been advised to stay indoors. The radioactive cloud from Japan is very likely to hit Italy, more precisely Rome and Vatican. Japan has finally admitted the seriousness of the nuclear radiation crisis as the country raised the alert level of the nuclear threat to Level 5, the highest rating of nuclear danger. Clouds are the most easiest way for the radioactive materials to reach Switzerland and its Alps.
