World Shakespeare Festival 2012

London, Stratford-upon-Avon, Newcastle/Gateshead, Birmingham, Wales and Scotland will be next year the host of World Shakespeare Festival. Shakespeare Festival 2012 will be part of the London 2012 Festival, organised for the Cultural Olympiad.
The festival is aimed at reviving the Shakespearian spirit among young people, promoting him as the most famous playwright in the world. The National Theatre Wales will welcome its public to watch the performance Coriolan/us, directed by Mike Pearson and Mike Brookes.
