Great Storm to Struck California This Winter

California might be the next ‘victim’ on the storms map. According to the specialists, this might cause $300 billion to $400 billion in damage. Taking into account the number of inhabitants, the ‘superstorm‘, as it is called, California could have more than a quarter of its entire surface flooded. The unfortunate event is likely to occur in the near future, due to the rising temperatures in the atmosphere. The area covered by the water may increase to dump 10 feet for 40 days. According to Lucy Jones, Geological Survey scientist, “We think this event happens once every 100 or 200 years or so, which puts it in the same category as our big San Andreas earthquakes.” California has always been among the affected by storms list along history, and the possibility of a future natural event, is very probable.
