Avatar Theme Park – A New Attraction Launched by Disney

The top-grossing ever movie Avatar will have an attraction dedicated to it in the Disney World’s Animal Kingdom theme park near Orlando. The high costs of new Avatar Theme Park, which rise to approximately $400 million, and the great surface it will occupy will make Avatar park a major part of all Disney park attractions. One of the main personalities involved in this project, and who also made the press release was James Cameron, the famous “groundbreaking filmmaker and gifted storyteller who shares our passion for creativity, technological innovation and delivering the best experience possible”, according to Disney CEO Bob Iger. Avatar fans will have to wait, however, for this park to be ready because the construction of the park is very likely to begin in 2 years from now. The agreement gives Disney exclusive global theme park rights to the “Avatar” franchise. The other Disney locations have not been announced. Cameron said a statement that „ Our goal is to go beyond current boundaries of technical innovation and experiential storytelling, and give park-goers the chance to see, hear, and touch the world of ‘Avatar‘ with an unprecedented sense of reality.”
